Workflow

How print orders work

Eight steps from your first file to dispatch.

    Upload files or submit requirements

    Send geometry or a written description of the part and its application.

  2. 02

    Geometry and printability review

    Files are checked for manifold geometry, wall thickness, feature size and printable detail.

  3. 03

    Material, orientation, finish, quantity and tolerance discussion

    Choices are agreed against how the part will actually be used.

  4. 04

    Quotation and approval

    A written quotation is issued covering scope, quantity, finish and delivery terms.

  5. 05

    Test print where required

    A sample is produced first when fit, tolerance or geometry risk justifies it.

  6. 06

    Production

    Parts are produced using the approved file, material and profile.

  7. 07

    Quality inspection

    Parts are checked against the agreed criteria before they leave.

  8. 08

    Packaging and dispatch

    Parts are packed and handed over or dispatched as agreed.
